2014 World Cup

The next World Cup will be held in Brazil in 2014, which will be the second time the country has hosted the competition since the first in 1950.

Brazil will become the fifth country to have hosted the FIFA World Cup two times.

The FIFA World Cup that will take place in 2014 will be the 20th event year.

It is scheduled to take place between June and July 2014 in the city of Rio de Janeiro at its famous Maracana stadium.

The stadium plans to close for about two years in order to undergo $400 million in renovations for the next World Cup.

The city is also planning on using the venue as the site of the 2016 Olympics.

The Maracana stadium was originally built for the 1950 World Cup and was the largest stadium in the world, seating 200,000.

The renovated area will seat 83,000 and includes new entries, restaurants, bars and a huge media center.

The logo of the 2014 World Cup, titled “Inspiration”, was created from an iconic photograph of three raised hands lifting a trophy and also incorporates the green and yellow interlocking hands as a symbol of oneness and team spirit.

The logo was revealed to the public at one of the 2010 World Cup ceremonies.

Team colors

Brazil’s first uniform was white jerseys with blue collars.

The team changed colors to become more patriotic.

With permission from the Brazilian Sports Confederation, the newspaper Correio da Manhã held a competition for artists and armatures alike to design the new uniforms using the four colors of the Brazilian flag— blue, yellow, green and white.

The winning design was a yellow jersey with green trim and blue shorts with white trim drawn by Aldyr Garcia Schlee, a nineteen year old from Pelotas.

These colors were first used in 1954 and are still used today.

Their away uniform is a blue Jersey with yellow trim and white shorts.

Brazil and FIFA

Brazil holds five Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) World Cup championship titles.

Brazil has not only won the cup more than any other country, but it is the only national team to have played in each World Cup.

They are also the most successful team in the FIFA Confederations Cup holding three titles.

Brazil and three other countries are the only ones to win a World Cup outside their time zone.

Brazil’s Verde-Amarela is the only team to win championships in four different continents.
